Twenty-five years ago we started our company with a simple mission: build carabiners and make them affordable. Although we’ve since broadened our focus a bit to include other product categories, we still have a fondness for our roots.

We have spent the majority of our history solely focused on improving the state of climbing carabiners and if you look closely, you’ll see a legacy of constant improvement and consistent innovation. In fact, Omega Pacific leads the entire industry with our many signature, Omega features in all our climbing carabiners like: Iso Cold Forging, Hooded Gates, Tapered Noses, Flat–Spin Riveting, Side–Swing Gates on HMS styles, and Proof Load Testing our carabiners to half their rated strength.
