Pros: These shoes will change the way you look at walking and running. I feel like I am getting more out of my runs, and I also like the attention that my feet get.
Cons: Because these shoes fit close to the feet and are most commonly worn bare-foot (although I recommend the Injinji toe socks), they tend to get sweaty and smelly fast. However, Vibram has made them washer-friendly, so it is pretty easy to take care of.
Other Thoughts: To wash them, put them in the washer and use warm water. I use a old tooth brush and put a little detergent in them before and scrub the sole, which helps restore the color and makes them smell good as well. Whatever you do, just don't put them in the dryer.

Pros: Novel, and fun ! The laser cut siping works great to prevent slipping on mossy rocks. I used these at the Alabama River Revival and they did great.
Cons: I suggest that you "break" your feet in gently though - these are so much fun to wear but your foot muscles may need a workout before they're ready for a full day in Five Fingers.
Other Thoughts: Try them for a couple of hours a day for a few days. You quickly get used to putting them on & feeling the rubber between your toes. The extra mobility and fun is definitely worth it.

Pros: These shoes are fantastic. They are lightweight, easy to clean and fit great on your feet. I have worn my Fivefinger Sprints to jog, hike, work, and swim. These shoes have help improve my balance and leg stamina by strengthening the muscles in my feet and legs.
Cons: The foot and leg strength doesn't happen over night, so be sure to wear your Sprints for short periods of time in the beginning or you can end up with slight soreness.
Other Thoughts: Who says you can't go everywhere (practically) barefoot? Enjoy being a kid again with these funky and FUNtional shoes!
