Patagonia R2 Vest

Maybe shave down the rack, maybe carry less food, but don't ditch the R2 Vest for climbs where core warmth matters as much as weight. Its unique variable-knit polyester (7.4-oz Polartec® Thermal Pro® that's 40% recycled) ensures optimal breathability, moisture-management and warmth for low-bulk core insulation that's especially effective when worn under a shell. Stretchy 6.5-oz R1® fabric (Polartec Power Dry®: 93% polyester that's 60% recycled/7% spandex) lines the inner collar for next-to-skin comfort. The vest has an easy-to-use front zipper, welded-in zippered handwarmer pockets and forward-set shoulder seams for comfort with a pack.
